Happy 12/12/12!

Happy 12/12/12! What a crazy day! We won’t have another consecutive day like this until 01/01/2101!

Here are some fun facts about this day:

The hills are alive with the sound of Wedding Bells! According to a David's Bridal survey, an estimated 7,500 brides will marry today!

Tonight music superstars, Bruce Springsteen, Kanye West, Bon Jovi, Paul McCarntey, The Who, and many more will play at 12-12-12 the Concert for Sandy Relief at Madison Square Garden. All of the net proceeds will go to the Robin Hood Relief Fund!

Math: 12 breaks down into halves, thirds, fourths, sixths and twelfths! No wonder 12 is used in so many measurements!

Happy Sixth Annual World Hoop Day! Once a year this non-profit organization gives children around the world Hula Hoops to promote peace and to promote the fun of playing! Check it out HERE.

In History:

Smokey Robinson and the Miracles had his first single today in 1970! Smokey was a vital part in Motown Records Corporation and even served as Vice President. Listen Here!

Could you imagine a world without the Mona Lisa? In 1913, two years after this classic painting was stolen from the Louvre Museum, it was recovered in Vincenzo Peruggia’s (the thief) hotel room in Florence. Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece is currently still in the Louvre today!
